How do I schedule my exam?
To schedule your exam, simply log in to your CompTIA Central account (or create one if you're new). From there, you'll be directed to Pearson VUE's website, our trusted testing service provider, to complete the scheduling process. Whether you choose to take your exam at a Pearson VUE test center or online through OnVUE, the steps are the same.
- Log in or create an account
Start by logging into your CompTIA Central account, or create a new one if you don't already have one. - Find the "Manage Exams" section
On your account homepage, look for the "Manage Exams" section and click the Scheduled and Manage Exams link. - Update your profile
Complete or verify your profile information and click Save Updates. - Choose your exam
You'll be directed to Pearson VUE's website. Select the exam code you want to schedule. - Pick your testing option
Decide whether you'll take the exam:
- In-person at a Pearson VUE test center, or
- Online through OnVUE.
- Select your preferences
- Choose your preferred exam language
- Agree to the testing policies
- Choose a test center
For in-person exams, select up to three test centers to compare availability. - Pick a date and time
Select a date and time that works best for you. - Review and pay
- Review your exam appointment details.
- Pay with a credit card or an exam voucher.
- Confirm your appointment
Click Submit to finalize your exam appointment.
